Kelantan Open Night Archery Tournament, 3-5 July 2009

Hi,


As the title suggests, MSN Kelantan with the partnership of the Pelapis Centre of Kelantan will be organizing Malaysia's very first night tournament, with a little bit of twist to it. For the qualifying round, 2 rounds of 36 arrows will be shot, using the 80 cm target face(double-face setup, score zones from 6-10), at 50 meters.

Medals shall be awarded to the respective winners of the qualifying round, and their scores will be used to determine their opponents in the Olympic Round (Eliminations). Rules are as per FITA …

Asean Paralympic Games, August 2009

Hi,


Recently, Laos has announced that it has not been able to host the Asean Paralympic Games, and Malaysia is willing to replace Laos as hosts to this event. So, we at ArcheryKaki hope that we would see some action from the Malaysian Paralympic team, in archery. I have not been able to secure a definite date yet, but when i do, i will be sure to tell. Till then, see you again.

1st Asian Grand Prix, 18-23 February 2009, Bangkok, Thailand

Now that the AYOF championships have passed us, we shall now see the rest of the Malaysian team in action, in the upcoming Asian Grand Prix (AGP), to be held on the 18th to 23rd of the month of February, at the Thailand capital, Bangkok.
There are rumours flying around that several national Juniors shall be joining the elite trio of Cheng Chu Sian, Wan Khalmizam, and Marbawi Sulaiman. And word of mouth also suggests that several compound archers shall be joining them, in Malaysia's quest of dominating the tournament.

Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur: Today a special event for preparation Olympic 2012 London is held at Bukit Jalil. Program Road to London 2012 was launching by the Minister of sport YB. Dato’ Seri Ismail Sabri Bin Yaakob. Most of the sport association committees are here to support the event as well as the OCM committees. Our NAAM President Tan Seri Abdul Halil Abd.
