Doinker Quadra Flex..

Post  Harrison Ooi on Fri Jan 30, 2009 7:12 pm

I just got my hands on this baby a few weeks ago....

Man,it might not feel very heavy in your hands, but it makes the bow drop fast!!!

The bow is now quiter, more stable and has A LOT less shock/vibration..

many misunderstand that putting dampers on stabilizer ends could help improve arrow flight.

Yes, it is definitely true, that the bow shall feel quieter, but it has almost no effect at all in overall arrow flight.
a research done by Win&Win has shown that vibration from the limbs takes about 0.3 - 0.5 seconds to get to the stabilizer dampers, just enough time for the arrow's nock to be almost the same spot as the stabilizer dampers.
what does this mean?

This research clearly tells us that having the right tune, riser and stabilization is essential to eliminate most of the shock and vibration from the limbs.

Doinker's suppressor (Carbon Elite Stabilizers) technology is one the best examples of a "shock eater". Since the suppressor is attached directly to the riser, this enables vibrations/shock to be dissipated even more quickly than conventional dampers, attached to stabilizer ends.

But before you think of getting a good stabilizer for yourself, it is essential to tune your bow to the optimum, and to tune, and fine-tune your form.

Anyway, excellent purchase, Harrison.

Full Set

Our National Player-Cheng Chu Sian has using one whole set of doiker stabilizer (long stab, side rod, extension, and top rod) since May 2008 for preparing the Olympic Game, Beijing. For the whole set combine together, the bow fell very heavy, but Chu Sian feels very comfortable for the doiker combination.
